Training associated with particular
programs or protocols can be sought directly through the organisational
contacts or their web pages. For example, training for community
water quality monitoring is provided by Streamwatch staff who can
assist in tailoring a program to local needs. The EPA Beachwatch
Partnership Pilot Program provides training in monitoring and reporting
of recreational water quality to local councils.
Professional organisations such as the Australian Water Association
provide workshops, events and conferences throughout the year.
There are also many commercial organisations who sell or utilise
monitoring instrumentation or technologies. Training is commonly
provided for correct use of their commercial equipment. |
