Description
The Western Sydney Salinity Code of Practice is part of a regional project that was funded by a Commonwealth Government Natural Heritage Trust grant. It is hoped that it will provide the basis of a coordinated and consistent salinity management response by the councils in the region. Through the implementation of the ideas presented in the Code councils should be able to develop a framework by which they can better consider the implications of the salinity potential in the region, both in relation to their own activities and as an issue for new developments.
