Providing Mentoring, Training and Opportunity to Young Women from Western Sydney to Become our Future Leaders

The Young Women's Leadership Program was a wonderful opportunity for young women, aged 16 to 25 years living in Western Sydney, to develop their skills and confidence as leaders.

Between 2005 and 2008 more than 110 diverse young women participated in the Program. In addition, the Program brought together over 120 female leaders and many organisations from across Western Sydney around the common goal of developing social capital and leadership in Australia's 3rd largest economy.

The Program was delivered by the Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils and funded by the NSW Office for Women, TAFE NSW - South Western Sydney Institute and Western Sydney Institute, local councils in Western Sydney, Perpetual Trustees and the Richmond Club.
